Job Description:

The Software Quality Engineer implements I.S. Quality Assurance (QA) processes under general supervision. This role is responsible for identifying issues, formulating alternative solutions, and providing recommendations to resolve them. The position documents task progress to ensure all objectives are achieved and collaborates effectively with QA team members, developers, vendors, and business users to execute testing procedures.

Qualification And Skill:

  • Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.

  • Proficient in building test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD).

  • Skilled in API testing with Rest Assured and database validation using SQL & JDBC.

  • Experienced with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven).

  • Practical experience working within Agile Development methodologies.

Responsibility:

  • Implements I.S. Quality Assurance processes under general guidance.
  • Identifies issues, develops alternative approaches, and proposes effective solutions.
  • Maintains clear documentation on task progress to ensure all goals are achieved.
  • Works collaboratively with QA teams, developers, vendors, and business users to execute test plans.
  • Supports the testing for projects of small-to-medium complexity.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of the key business processes and technologies supported.
